Background of the Study
Wireless network coverage is a critical component of online learning infrastructure in secondary schools. In Jalingo Local Government Area, Taraba State, many schools face significant challenges in providing stable and reliable wireless network access for their students, especially in rural areas. As schools increasingly adopt online learning platforms, these challenges hinder effective teaching and learning experiences, with slow internet speeds, network drops, and weak signals being major obstacles (Sani & Bello, 2023). Optimizing wireless network coverage ensures uninterrupted access to online learning resources, promoting a seamless educational environment. This study seeks to explore solutions to improve wireless network coverage, focusing on strategic placements of access points, advanced technologies, and network optimization.

Secondary schools in Jalingo face difficulties in providing reliable internet connections due to inadequate wireless network coverage. Many students experience disruptions during online learning sessions, impacting their ability to engage with digital content and interact with their teachers. The lack of proper network infrastructure leads to poor educational outcomes, especially during critical e-learning sessions.
